Notion is an all-in-one workspace where you can write documents, plan project deadlines, and collaborate with others. To make work in Notion even more organized, you can embed Todoist. Review your projects or check for upcoming tasks side-by-side with your notes.

Warning

The Notion integration isn't fully supported on mobile and desktop devices. To use it without issues, open Notion with a web browser and log in to your Todoist account.

Set up the integration

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Log in to your Notion account.
  3. Type /embed in a new line to add the Embed block.
  4. Add Todoist’s sign-in URL: https://todoist.com/app.
  5. Click Embed link.
  6. Log in to your Todoist account with your email and password. If you're logging in with your Apple ID, Google account, or Facebook account, here's how to add a password.

Quick tip

You can embed a specific view (for example: a project, filter, or label view) in Notion. To set this up, open your preferred view in the Todoist web app, copy the link in the address bar, and add it to the Embed block in Notion.

Troubleshoot login issues

If your web browser prevents cross-site tracking or blocks third-party cookies, the integration won't recognize you logging in to Todoist. You'll need to turn this setting off in your web browser to log in successfully.

Warning

Although this isn't recommended due to privacy and security concerns, doing so won't affect your Todoist data. We encourage proceeding with extreme caution.

Remove the integration

To remove the embedded Todoist block:

  1. Hover over the right corner of the Todoist block.
  2. Click the three dots icon.
  3. Select Delete.

Try out the 2sync integration to create a Notion template that automatically mirrors tasks from your Todoist. Add a task in Todoist and watch it instantly appear in Notion, and vice versa.
